Spring Brewing

Yet Another Blog about Home Brewing

So today I had ask the owner of my local home brewing supply store (Brew it Yourself) for a receipt from last year to jog my memory of the modifications I had made to a beer recipe that turned out great.  I managed to misplace my notes.  I have decided to try to blog about my brewing as a way to keep track of what I have brewed, modifications/experiments and finally how the final product turned out.

The name:  Spring Brewing
Why?:         I live in an unincorporated area north of Houston called Spring Texas.

Currently on tap:  a nice simple Cream Ale and a Moonless Stout
Currently in Bottles:  Nicely aged Scottish Strong Ale which was based on a Traquair House Recipe from BYO magazine and whose forgotten modification prompted this blog.
Currently in progress:  a clone of Stone's RuinTEN  based on on this recipe.

It will go into the secondary with the first set of Dry hops ( 2 oz of  Centennial and 2 oz of Citra) in the morning.
